Rigason™ builds AI-powered software and services for mission-driven organizations: agents that give staff superpowers, and personal experiences for everyone they serve. We build for the mission first. Our first product is PaperlessZen.
We believe the mission lives in the work, not the paperwork. People take jobs in mission-driven organizations for the mission: the cause they believe in, the people they serve, the change they want to see. Then the tools turn them into clerks for their own filing. We exist to change that.
Our vision
Flip the script. For decades, mission-driven organizations have made do with software built for corporations, bending it to fit their work. We think the mission deserves better than hand-me-downs: tools built for how this work actually happens. Build that well enough, and the for-profit world will want it too.
We give people their time and attention back. The floor is that the data is finally trustworthy and the system is a pleasure to use. The ceiling is that the busywork clears and people get back to the relationships and the mission.
The longer-term market is mission-driven organizations broadly. We start with the teams that hold an institution’s documents and contracts (advancement, general counsel, finance, and records) at universities, schools, and nonprofits.
By building for the mission first, so the software finally fits the work. It is a pleasure to use, it keeps your data yours and portable, and it earns trust by getting the unglamorous parts right instead of piling on features.
We work deeply and continuously in generative AI and agent design: how agents read a document trail, when they should act and when they must ask. The shipping bar is high: intelligence must feel native to the workflow, or it does not ship.
Plain, direct, and confident. We write and build the way reliable infrastructure would: we say what happened and get out of the way. We talk in concrete outcomes, never hype, and let the results speak.
What we protect
